How to access immigration support

Terms & Conditions — Immigration Support
Coverage Scope
Tiers cover legal advice, mediation, and litigation support for immigration matters unless excluded. Coverage is limited to the member, spouse, and up to 6 dependent children under 21.
Waiting Periods & Exclusions
- General benefits waiting period: 3 months.
- Litigation benefits waiting period: 6 months.
- Exclusion: Pre-existing immigration issues (started prior to membership activation) are not eligible for discounts or free thresholds.
Premiums & Claims
Membership premiums must be up to date for claims to be valid. Members must submit full disclosure via the standard intake form. Suggested example limits (editable):
- Bronze — Annual legal hours cap: 5 hours; monetary cap R10,000.
- Silver — Annual legal hours cap: 10 hours; monetary cap R30,000.
- Gold — Annual legal hours cap: 20 hours; monetary cap R100,000.
- Litigation access fee (suggested): R500 per case.
Contractual Terms
- Only the named member and beneficiaries have enforceable rights.
- Membership may be suspended for non-payment or fraud. Exception for non-payment due to detention or prolonged hospitalization when evidence is provided.
- Migrants SA may send marketing/promotional material; members may opt-out.
